Mechanical and electrical installation of an RC production line

Mechanical scope:

Within the mechanical scope of this project, we independently installed a cleaning tower. This included, among other components, a roller screen, a rotary airlock, several screw conveyors and belt conveyors, two sorting machines as well as filtration systems with associated piping.

Additionally, we installed the structural steel framework housing the tower, which alone weighed approximately 100 tonnes.

We also assembled a conveyor bridge leading to the cleaning tower. Together with the conveyor belt, steel structures on the silo, and transfer chutes, this added approximately another 30 tonnes of installed steel and equipment.

Electrical scope:

This project marked our first fully independently executed electrical installation project for a recycling tower. We managed all implementation aspects and provided the required workforce throughout the project.

The project progressed through several phases, beginning with the installation of cable trays and cable ladder systems according to specified technical requirements. Close and proactive collaboration with the client ensured that all operational needs and expectations were fully met. This precise installation formed the basis for subsequent electrical work.

We independently carried out the installation and wiring of junction boxes, motors, maintenance switches, sensors, and control cabinets in accordance with the cable lists and electrical schematics (EPLAN), always maintaining the highest quality standards.

Another key project component involved installing equipotential bonding systems and network cabling, creating a robust and comprehensive electrical infrastructure.

Through our independent project execution, we ensured all work was completed on schedule and in accordance with strict quality and safety standards. This project clearly demonstrates our capability to manage complex industrial electrical installation projects from start to finish.

Parallel to installation activities, weekly coordination meetings were held with our team and the client on-site. These meetings ensured continuous alignment, progress monitoring, clarification of open issues, and timely adjustments when necessary.

Material planning and procurement were carried out in close cooperation with the client to ensure all required resources were available on schedule. This collaborative partnership significantly contributed to the project’s successful execution.

The final project phase included commissioning support and comprehensive I/O checks to ensure all inputs and outputs functioned correctly. Our continuous support throughout this phase ensured a smooth start-up and successful project completion.
